Apparently the NSA doesn’t like Ubuntu. They provide instructions for locking down Red Hat, but no other Linux distribution.
Red Hat comes with a more hardened, and hardenable, SELinux which just happens to be a NSA product. 🙂
And it still takes two hundred pages to explain how to properly lock it down?! 🙂
It’s a government document, the authors get evaluated by the pound probably. 😉
