The bank that I use (which shall remain nameless) is supposed to have gotten the highest customer rating for their online presence, as far back as seven years ago. Unfortunately, that doesn’t extend to their online customer service, which is pretty much what you’d expect from a large software company. Case in point: Continue reading ‘Customer Service’ »
Judging Art
One of the sites I read regularly is the Dilbert Blog, by Dilbert creator Scott Adams. Today he posted an interesting piece on judging art… interesting because I’ve never understood the appeal of certain kinds of art. Hello world!
It’s a Sunday, and I didn’t have anything more interesting to do, so I’ve finally decided to install some blog software and give the world even more useless commentary. Fun, eh? 🙂
According to Aaron Brazell, there are two kinds of bloggers: “those who blog for themselves, and those who write for others.” I’m one who writes for himself, and for selected friends, relatives, and acquaintances. I don’t really care whether anyone reads my blog or not. If someone finds it interesting, great. If they don’t, tough. If no one finds it at all, no big deal.
I’ve got a lot of things I’d like to say, and it’ll probably take me a couple months to say them all. But right now, I have to go put this puppy through it’s paces and see what all it can do.
