I always wondered at the assertion that Earth’s oceans had to be from comets and asteroids, because I couldn’t see how there could be a heavy enough bombardment of them to make that much of a difference. (Even if the Earth is just a slightly damp ball of rock. 🙂 ) Apparently I’m not the only one.
