Sigh, I was very sad when Douglas Adams “threw in the towel”. (Sorry, couldn’t help making the bad joke!)
As was I, and most people who knew his work.
He knew how to reach people who weren’t into SF also, my mom hates most SF but loved Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker series and was an avid listener to the original radio show rebroadcast on NPR from the BBC.
