a) Nothing’s impossible because G-d created the world.
b) People have neuro-circuits designed to see faces, and the human shape. The fact that we noticed such phenomena is not unusual, as our very brains and retinas are built for recognizing the human form in a sea of other data. This is why we think, on a higher level, that such a phenomena was significant at all.
Significant or not, that’s still a highly improbable shape for a root to grow in.
