  1. The more you like music, the more likely you are to buy it. Let’s face it, listening to the radio or watching videos that are played on the TV nowadays don’t make you like music.

    I know several internet radio stations are responsible for me buying music – of course, the royalties that are being collected from them don’t go to the artists they play, like even the best radio, they are scaled according to the “top 40” and go to whatever trash is being promoted to Billboard Magazine. Even that isn’t enough for them, now they want to make the royalties cost millions a year for only internet radio – they’re scared to have good music played. Too much competition to their low-quality-music business model. Grr…

  2. They’re trying to defend a cash cow that has been dying for nearly a decade already. They have no chance, and they know it as well as anyone, but they’re going to draw it out as long as they can.
