“5 Things Hollywood Thinks Computers Can Do”

Computers can do a lot — some form of computer runs practically every piece of technology nowadays, up to and including your toaster. But they can’t quite do everything that Hollywood thinks they can.

(Call me gullible, but I was able to suspend my disbelief for most of those, enough to enjoy the movies. Except Independence Day… that scene pretty much ruined the movie for me.)

    Thanks for the link. That was entertaining!
    Independence Day was a really cheezy b-flick to begin with, but when they had the mac wirelessly hook up with the alien spaceship, that was just too much. It deserves that #1 spot.

    The link goes to the reviews of specific movies, however above that are some generic movie blunders as well, such as using a match to light gasoline.

    I’ve seen that page before, but it was a long time ago — before they started posting reviews of specific movies, if I recall correctly. Very amusing.
